Can anyone tell me the legal time frame you have to file a birth certificate? Ive had 4 children and all of course were filled out and filed before I left the hospital. My question though is ,if someone has a baby and /or baby is still in hospital but the mother has been discharged how long does one BY LAW have before they HAVE to fill out the paper work for a birth certificate?
I do not know of the specific time line, or if one exists. I suggest you contact vital records.
