Can I rent my house?

Why do you need his signature if yours is the only name on the deed? To my knowledge, if the home was purchased prior to marriage, yours is the only name on the deed, it is your home, minus any money he put towards the home during the marriage.
Are you the one living in the home?
If his name is not on the deed or mortgage, then you do not need his signature to sell, rent or anything else…I believe this is the case.

If the home is only in your name you do not need his signature to rent it.

I am the only one on the deed. Bought the house prior to marriage. The ex wont sign to sell it. Do I need his signature or anything to rent it? I have to do something before it forecloses…
