The response posted above is based upon the limited factual information made available and is not intended as a full and complete response to the question. The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. yes I looked that up and found that it not be a contested amount, but do laws regarding child support take into account which parent is left with the maintaining of household for the child plus expenses?

I had a similar situation, she left I kept my son and all the bills, I got a attorney and she did to and she wanted joint custody,$1000 a month in alimony and she wanted child support but she end up getting no alimony and she has to pay me child support and i make almost double the income, so my advice to you is keep doing what you are doing, document everything and go for primary custody and child support,

Dear craig:

Greetings. Yes, the child support guidelines itself accounts for your expenses (although many paying parents have a difficult time making ends meet). Due to your schedule, you should be on a Worksheet B (due to the fact that you have in excess of 124 overnights each year). Thank you.

Hi, I’ll try to make this brief,If I have my son thur.-sun. and my wife has him sun.-thur. of every week and I’m left maintaining the household while she’s living free of charge with her mom- plus she makes about 15,000 more a year than I would child support be an issue for either of us? Even though the custody would be joint legal & physical. Also she left on her own decision. thanks.
