I’m curious about child support rights by the paying parent, does the parent that pays child support get to know the address of the children they are paying for even if it has not been brought up in court?
Any parent should be informed of their children’s whereabouts and the address of where they are living whether the non-custodial parent is paying child support or not unless there is a court order that prevents otherwise.
Most custody orders require that each parent notify the other about changes in address and telephone numbers within 24 hours of the change or in advance of the change.
