Court Date Question

Hello again!

I have a question as to what the correct procedure is.

I had a court date in August for a hearing to move out of state. I was granted to move out of state. The Judge said we will be back in December to review the case. A “temporary order” was to be drafted and filed in the meantime.

  1. Who should have requested the court review date for December - my attorney or the other attorney?
  2. Could a court date be set even though the “temp order” had not been filed yet?

Either party can request a new court date. I don’t know why the court said that the case would be reviewed, but either party can put the matter back on for permanent custody even if the order from the temporary hearing hasn’t been entered yet.
