Debt

Dear kristalclear:

Greetings. First, talk to a criminal attorney concerning the forgery issue so that you know how to react to the same. Do not speak about it again, unless with your attorney, no matter how much he talks to you about it.

The money you and/or your spouse made during the marriage is half yours. You can spend your funds on yourself if you want it and it does not have to go for your children, although I do recommend that my clients put funds in accounts for their children.

No, your husband cannot move the funds into the children’s names to hide them to you. The court can make him distribute the funds to you. Best of luck and let us know if we can help.

Good luck.
