My ex is seeking a reduction in child support and using alimony that he pays me as part of my monthly income. I thought that alimony did NOT count as income if it was being paid by that particular spouse seeking the reduction in his child support obligation?? Please confirm.
Income from any source, including alimony, is included in gross income for purposes of calculating child support.
