Wife moved out of marital home 8/09, and rented an apt. She knows when i am out of town, and take that time to come by and retrieve so called her items. I read that once one spouse moves out and sets up other living arrangements, they are no longer allowed in home without my permission.Is that correct?
That is correct, I would recommend you change the locks.
