My wife and I have decided to get a divorce. She at first was going to get an apartment so we can be apart. She was told if she moves out with my knowledge that she gives up the right to our home.
The agreement was that I would maintain the home and vehicle payment.
By moving out of the home she relinquishes the right to possession of the home. You have the right to change the locks and she can only enter the home with your permission, just as you would need permission to enter her new apartment.
