I am recently divorced and my ex has made a threat towards someone I am dating, which was conveyed to me through a mutual friend of my ex and me. He threatened bodily harm. I believe it is serious and I am very concerned. Is there any legal step I, or my boyfriend can take, seeing as this threat was not made specifically to me or my boyfriend? I’m wondering what I should do, if anything…as I said, my boyfriend and I are both very concerned.
You current boyfriend could seek a 50C protective order, but the person who actually heard the threat would have to come to court.
