I saw the confirmation that Legal Aid does take on custody cases. I thought this was only done if there is some kind of abuse. What are the requirements to attain legal aid for a custody case? As it is, I am currently unable to afford councel and have been trying to take out a loan to cover it. If legal aid is a possiblity, that would be great.
Legal Aid offers help in cases where there is no abuse when they can. You should contact the legal aid office in your county to determine if they can assist you.
