Friday Pro Se Divorce Court in Wake County

Will I be required to bring a witness to court with me? I am from Maryland and witnesses are required to say that you were married and separated during the legal required period. Since I am representing myself, I am assuming the judge will ask me all of the questions that a representing attorney would? Will I be asked these questions when my individual case is called or in a group of related cases?

Thanks.

You have to be able to tell the judge what is necessary to obtain a divorce. This is usually the contents of your divorce complaint. I have never seen a divorce hearing with a witness other than the party seeking divorce in Wake County. Whether the judge will ask you leading questions depends on the judge. You should have your complaint with you and be able to make your claim for a divorce using the contents therein.
