Can I request that my ex’s hair be tested for the use of marijuana? This may play a big part in our child custody. Do you know how expensive the test is…or how long the marijuana stays in the hair follicules?

You will have to convince a judge that drug testing is necessary to ensure the child is endangered. Filing a motion for judicial assistance will be the avenue to take to bring your concerns to the attention of the judge.
I have no idea how much the hair follicle test costs, nor how long marijuana stays in one’s system.
