Just wondering if anyone has done the DIY divorce papers from this website. I don’t have any money for a lawyer and it looks as though the process is fairly straight forward. I have posted a question in both sections regarding the Civil Summons but have gotten no response. If anyone has done this paperwork themselves, PLEASE respond!
My question is: the Civil summons says that the defendent(my husband) has to give a response to the me(the plaintiff). What kind of response does it have to be? In writing, notarized, certified mail? Is there a formal form that needs to be done as a response? I am having to do this all myself because he has no clue how to do any of it. Things have to be spelled out to him or it will not get done correctly.
