He gave her the house, car, and 3,000 a month. They have no kids and were married 13 years. She is an accountant. My husband missed three payments to her and now she is suing me for alienation of affection for 4 years ago. She is very money hungry and drives a mercedes and has 2 homes. Can she sue me after four years? Thanks I live in north carolina

Dear Jean:

Greetings. No, she cannot sue you for a cause of action that occurred over four (4) years ago under alienation of affection, as that action has a 3 year statute of limitations. My suggestion is that you hire an attorney to file a Motion to Dismiss. Best of luck.
