Is she in contempt?

#1

Your ex is in contempt and you have the text messages to prove it. You should file what is called a motion to show cause. The clerk with then give you an order which you must serve on your ex. She will be required to come to court and explain why the court should not hold her in contempt, not likely given her behavior.

Help. This is so frustrating. My girlfriend and I are doing everything by the book for the benefit of our children. My ex actually drove our children to some location so that I could not see them for a birthday party I had planned. The judge said I could see each child for three hours on their birthday. She had agreed all week to the idea of a birthday party- but at the last second hid them from me. All the while she sent ugly, taunting texts to me about what a great time they were having, while my parents and friends sat around and looked at dinner and a birthday cake and no birthday- girl. (She is also the same woman who has just moved her boyfriend into the house.)
The children have seen her boyfriend in bed with her in the morning! I am so worried about my children and I do NOT know what steps to take. I have no more money for lawyers!!!
