Mediation in a few weeks

If you are referring to the court ordered custody mediation, you can expect that you will be in a room with your spouse and a neutral mediation. The mediator will try to facilitate a discussion between you and your spouse and help you reach a parenting agreement that you are both comfortable with. The mediation is for you and your spouse and you should not bring anyone with you.

You should take anything with you that you feel will make you more comfortable during the mediation. The mediator will not be making a decision though, and so it is not necessary that you bring anything with you.

The response posted above is based upon the limited factual information made available and is not intended as a full and complete response to the question. The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. The basic information provided above is intended as a public service but a full discussion with an attorney should be undertaken before taking any action.

Good luck on mediation it was a waste of time for me all my ex wanted to do was yell and say its all my fault hope you do not have to go through that

it has always been my fault :frowning: or so he says…
was my fault when he got our girls cell phones and they never called him but he never called them either… (and him not calling was my fault) lol

What should I expect in mediation? What will be asked of me? Should a lawyer go with me? Should I take my papers showing the ex molested oldest child? Should I take anything?

Thanks for your time…
