Military Deployment

Given the facts that you have described, I do not believe that he would be able to seek an annulment. Under the laws of this state it is unlikely that he would owe her spousal support. However, he needs to consult with a JAG attorney to determine if cutting off support would have any negative consequences on him with regards to the military.

My son is on Military Deployment until sometime early next year. He married in July and shipped out in August. His wife sent him an email saying she cheated and he really wants an annulment. No kids, no house, no joint property. He had a car before they got married and is getting BAH now, but they have never even lived together. Can they annul? Can he simply cut off the financial support? (She has not worked during their marriage.)
