I have already responded to the divorce papers that I agree with the divorce just not any financial relief.
Today I receive a motion hearing for absolute divorce from the soon to be ex. He is in NC where the divorce is taking place. I live in NH. I cannot make the hearing on that date. What should I do? Do I need to go?
Everything else is divided and agreed upon. I am just worried if i dont show up will the court agree for financial relief for him… Basically, will any negativity come against me for not being able to be present. He has a lawyer, I do not.
