Non Payment of Child Support

We have court ordered child support agreement. As for the past 4 months my ex-husband has refused to pay child support. He is seeking a modification of child support, I have supplied my layer who has shared with his my W-2 along with last pay stubs over 5 months ago. My lawyer continues faxing his lawyer that he needs to continue paying child support until they file for a modification and there is never any progress except a bill from my lawyer . Any suggestions for what I can do to receive positive results?

Thank you

If the other parent is not paying child support according to the terms of your current and valid child support order, then you can file a contempt motion (called a motion and order to show cause), which will have a court date, in order to enforce the court order.
