In my consent order, I am responsible for medical bills. My child’s mother sent me a 300 dollar handwritten itemized note of over the counter medications she has bought over the past year. I asked her for receipts of all purchases and she said she could not provide them. Would I be responsible for this? I would think not because it seems like a judge would require receipts to show proof of purchase.
If your order requires documentation of the expenses, I would assume she would need to provide actual receipts.
