Maybe have your soon to be ex and the bio father have paternity tests to establish paternity?

I have been separated from my husband for over four years. We just never got around to filing for divorce. Last year I had a child, and although my husband is not the father of this child, I was told at the hospital I had to put him on the birth certificate. The childs biological father signed and affidavit at the hospital stating he was the father. I am now in the process of filing for an absolute divorce and I need to know how to go about requesting my husbands name be removed from the birth certificate. Vital records has informed me that it has to be in my final divorce somwhere that he be removed. I went to an attorney today and she didn’t know how to go about this either. I’d rather just do it myself if at all possible.
