My husband and I made a separation agreement and had it signed by a notary. What do we do now? Do we have to file it with the court? or is it legal now that it has been signed by a notary?
It is a fully enforceable and legally biding document once signed by each of you before a notary. Separation Agreements are not filed by the court.
