Visitation

In cases involving breastfed infants more often that not, judges will allow visitation. If you feel that your baby will not be in a safe environment or that the child will not take breast milk from a bottle you will need to explain your reasoning in front of the judge, he or she may agree that visitation should be in shorter increments of time, or suggest some other type of arrangement where the child can slowly adjust to being away from mom.

The father needs to pay child support regardless of if he has what he believes he is entitled to as far as visitation goes.

7 week old breatfed baby. Dad doesn’t want to pay child support unless he get to take baby away from Mom for his “every other weekend” he thinks he is entitled to. How is visitation away from home handled with a breastfed newborn?
