Once I file for Divorce, how long before it is official ?
It is uncontested per our SA.
You will need to schedule the hearing, and the divorce will be final when the judge signs the decree.
So it is all dependent on when the court has openings in their schedule ?
Does my wife even have to attend the hearing ?
Yes, you must contact the clerk to set a hearing date, send notice of the hearing to your ex, and attend the hearing with a judgment you prepare for the judge to sign. The defendant need not appear.
