have you tried to talk to a supervisor? Was this all settled in your divorce decree? this seems like an abusive amount of time to wait!
Greetings. You need to speak with Child Support Enforcement. They probably sent it by certified mail or through the Sheriff for service and they may not have a good address for him. I live in the Greenville area and I “put up” my ex for child support in September of 2005. It’s been 10 months, and they still haven’t served him. What’s the deal? Every time I call and talk to the case worker, she says they are very busy and basically gives me every excuse under the sun. She even said that older, outstanding cases are not given preference. When I strated this process, I was told it would take 3-6 months. I went through the state because I could not afford to hire a lawyer. I’m very stressed out. I’m a single mom with toddler twins. It would be nice to at least get some financial help.
