Who pays for what?

I am beginning to put together a separation agreement and have a few questions. Currently, I earn 95% of the household income so I expect to pay a large amount of Child Support and Alimony. I expect custody to be split 50/50.

  1. Who will pay for unexpected expenses such as medical bills?

  2. Who will pay for child care? (my wife does not work but cannot take care of the children due to chronic back pain)

  3. Will I be expected to pay for my wife’s legal bills related to the divorce?

Should all this be specified in the separation agreement?
