BB divorce plus

I wanted to sue my wealthy husband of over 10yrs for intentional emotional distress IIED which includes keeping me financially “starved”. Cleverly having all his assets his separate property, the BB divorce I have initiated alone will not result in sustaining me at my elder age to have any quality of life.
I’m now being advised that if i bring forward a IIED tort lawsuit, during the BB divorce it would conflict…couldn’t do. Both address misconduct etc.
Right now, I’m beside myself. I had thought my only chance is with an IIED to receive damage$$ since in such a lawsuit his separate property stocks value and all derived from would not be protected.

You would need to consult with a general civil litigation attorney regarding the details of an intentional infliction of emotional distress lawsuit and the elements that must be proven to be successful.
