Child Support extension

Hello, my stepdaughter is now 18 years old and is scheduled to graduate from high school this June at the age of 19. She has earned enough credits to graduate so she is not taking classes this six-week report card period. Her enrollment status is classified by the school as a senior with a “Flex Schedule”. Because she is now 18 and not attending school on a daily basis, does this allow her father to end his child support payments now rather than when she graduates in June 2015? We are residents of North Carolina, Harnett County. Thank you for your help.

Child Support in North Carolina continues until the child turns 18 or graduates from high school (the latter of the two). The child support order will be enforceable until she actually graduates in June 2015.
