Hello all.
My question is this my ex has moved to virginia and now works for the state of virginia,I have let cse take over the case and they have sent a letter of wage verification to the employer so they can do wage witholding,but cse is telling me that if the employer doesnt respond in the 30 day time frame that they (nc cse) have no jurisdiction in VA.to do anything is this true???and I cant believe this is true I know a friend her ex lives in VA. now and he missed a payment and the sheriff there in VA. paid him a visit.
Some one please give me straight answers about collecting cs across state lines.
Oh by the way nc. cse has all the info (employer,ss,address,phone number of ex)so they know where ex is.
