Denies Affair and still keeps in touch

Janet:

In all likelihood your Husband does not know why he maintains contact either. Rarely are people honest with themsevles. In this case, your Husband is not being honest with you, himself nor the individual he is having an affair with. At some point, it would be healthy for you to decide what is in your best interest and begin to make steps in that direction.

I know that my Husband is having an affair. We have been married almost 11 yrs. He claims that they are "just friends." He has stated that a man could not ask for a better wife than me. He told his family he just doesn't want to be married any more. He's left twice and has recently presented me with a separation agreement. I signed after showing it to a Lawyer as it is very equitable for me. My husband continues to keep in touch with me either by calling or coming to our home. He always kisses me goodbye. We have even gone out together. I really don't get why he would want to be so friendly when he doesn't have to any more. He knows I didn't want to be separated or divorced. I was willing to try to salvage our marriage dispite the pain he caused me. He has never admitted this affair and I know he never will. None of them do. However, I know that he continues to see her. Any comments on why he would want to continue to see me would be appreciated. I just don't get it.
