I am trying to file for a divorce on my own. We have two children together and I have full custody. All I am wanting out of the divorce is the money that they owe for taking my credit cards and maxing them out with out my knowledge. We have been apart over 5 years and I just want this over. Where can I find papers to file myself that have property division?
To file for absolute divorce, equitable distribution, etc., you have to file a complaint at your county’s clerk’s office. Our Do It Yourself Divorce Guide will walk you through the process and show you which forms you need to file. Note that you can include other claims (like equitable distribution for example) in the same complaint as the absolute divorce so you will only have to pay one filing fee.
For a guide to use for drafting a complaint for other equitable distribution and any other claims, take a look at our Sample Court Complaint.

Thanks so much for the info but where do I get these forms?? The county clerk office keeps telling us to go to legal aid to get the papers but they are for an uncontested divorce.
There are no preprinted forms to file for an absolute divorce and other claims. Our Do It Yourself Divorce Guide will help you through the process.
