Ex Wife Hacked into my Facebook

I have been divorced for 4 years and have remarried. My new wife and I live in Indiana and the ex lives in NC. I discovered a couple of days ago, she (out of the blue) was able to figure out my password and view, print, and distribute my personal information. This included private emails between me and my current wife. Needless to say, the public humiliation is devestating to my family. Further, she accessed it from a work (local gov) PC. She was never authorized to EVER log into anything of ours. QUESTION… Can I have her charged criminally, can I recover civil damages? Can my wife also bring action and others who’s emails she distributed?

Criminal charges may be possible and civil claims for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress may be viable options. This is a family law forum, and we do not deal directly with those issues, but you should seek attorneys in those area to discuss all of your options.
