I am in the process of initiating a separation with my wife. About two weeks ago, she got mad and hit me three times on the shoulder while telling me that she"hated" me. The hit didn’t cause my an physical harm, but my daughter did witness this. At the time I let it slide, but as things heat up between us, I’m wondering if I should have reported this and if it’s too late to report. I’m not looking for her to be hauled off to jail, but I do want a record of her actions asthing continue to escalate.
I would document her actions moving forward. I also suggest you meet with an attorney to formulate a plan. You are living in an extremely volatile environment which is not healthy for your child.
