Insurance

Is the non-custodial parent responsible for paying a portion of my out-of-pocket expenses for medical care for my children such as doctor co-pays, over-the-counter medications, braces, etc…the health/dental insurance premiums that I pay every month are already calculated in the child support order, but the order doesn’t seem to specify for the out-of-pocket expenses. One of my children needs braces and it will cost thousands out of my pocket, after the insurance pays their part, and I don’t know if he is supposed to pay part of that based on the percentage from the child support calculation.

If the order does not provide for the non-custodial parent to share in these expenses the custodial parent pays them.
