1st, Do not put your child in the middle of your war.
2nd, get a job. (Judge will order you to do so anyway)
3rd, call all lawyers in your area and see if there is anyone who will help you on a contengency.
4th. DO NOT let the lawyer convince you to make false charges of abuse. It could get you in more trouble than you realize. If, things get bad, then seek shelter elsewhere and take your children with you.
5th. Find a divorce support group
All Children deserve equal time with both parents.
I am not putting our child in the middle and I am all for joint custody so she can have both parents in her life equally.
I am currently looking for a job. Finding it hard to get back in the work force after staying home for 3 years but I am doing it and also plan to go back to school in the fall.

My husband and I have been married for since 2001. We met in san diego california and got married in vegas. Now i am sent back to the country wwhere i was born. my husband has stopeed communicating with me for six months then on Jan 17, 2007 I was finally able to talk to his Commanding Officer. My husband called and said he will not send money for those six months that he didnt send any. But he will start sending money $750 until the divorce is final. He sent the papers to sign a few days ago. My husband also told me that I will not getting anything, and I dont think thats fair. He has my car and my leathers (that I love) And i also weant him to continue the visa he applied for me which he cancelled according to him. I do NOT want to get a divorce and not get what I should be getting…PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP…what should i do?

Dh talked to lawyer a few weeks ago and told me that he is getting a seperation aggreement for me to sign.
I want to see a lawyer but have no money. The accounts are in his name and I have no access to any of them. I do not work, I’ve been a stay at home mother for almost 3 years.
I now have to ask him for money to get milk, everything.
He tells me that he is not going to give me any money to see a lawyer and that I am not enitlted to anything in that account. He told me that all he has to do is support me and since I have a roof over my head and food to eat, that is all he has to do.
He is also really abusive emotionally. Telling me if I do not do what he wants that he will take our daughter and have custody etc …
What can I do?
I called legal aid but they go by family income and he has a good salary.
