Do any of you know of a way to find out if someone is married other than calling every courthouse to see if there’s something on file? My husband’s ex told the children that she and her live-in boyfriend were married several weeks ago. The children think she’s lying and we’re not so sure either. The last we heard, she didn’t want to be married. I tried looking up on internet but when her name comes up it is still linked to my husband. The one courthouse I called said that the license is issued in the county the marriage takes place in and that is the ONLY place it is filed. Just wondering if there was some other way that I wasn’t aware of to find this information out.
