You should file a pro se motion for interim distribution and ask the court to distribute some marital assets to you. That should give you some funds to pay expenses and retain counsel.

I just called the clerks office in my county and they were not aware of this form. What exactly am I supposed to be asking? What is the name or number of this form?
Please help…I know he is going to try to take everything and leave me with nothing, and there is not a whole lot I can do since I cannot even pay off my attorney right now.
There is no form to file, it is simply a motion that you draft and file.

I am seperated from my husband for 9 months now and we have joint custody w/ me being primary. Now we have all marital property to settle which he has in his possesion. I was making payments to my attorney and now he has withdrawn from the case since I owe over $3,000 now. Attorney is taking me to court for this and I am not sure what to do. I do not have the money to pay this at one time and now I have no attorney!!
Can someone please let me know what my options are?? I am at a loss since the ex has started liquidating some of the assets! He sold MY car, and cashed out his 401K. Can he legally do this? PLEASE - WHAT ARE SOME OF MY OPTIONS???
