I just lost my house and my good credit due to my husband’s lying to me about his intentions. The mortgage was in my name alone. He got an apartment “just in case” we lost the house, moved most of our furniture over there and now won’t even let me in the apartment, let me store my things there while I live in an extended stay hotel and won’t even let me see my dogs until I sign a “Reconciliation Agreement”. He led me to believe he was cleaning up his credit to get a new mortgage and that he was putting money on the side. I need to talk to some other people and get a good attorney.
