One more question about keeping a journal

If I write what my child said in a journal entry-would it likely be inadmissible as hearsay? Should I delete those portions? Can I instead say things like, based on what my child said I was left with the impression that… and the like or is that also hearsay?

Thanks for this great resource! I am learning a lot going through old posts.

What your child says is inadmissible hearsay, your impressions are not.
