Question on residency in a Complaint with Children

In the Complaint I am attempting to fill out, it states:

  1. That the Plaintiff is a citizen and resident of Wake County, North Carolina, and has been a citizen and resident of Wake County, North Carolina for more than (6) six months next preceding the commencement of this action.

However, I moved to Wake county 6 weeks ago, and resided in Lincoln county prior to that. Do I have to file this in Lincoln County, or just edit the above line to read something like:

  1. That the Plaintiff is a citizen and resident of Wake County, North Carolina, and has been a citizen and resident of Wake County, North Carolina for more than (6) weeks and was previously a citizen and resident of Lincoln County, North Carolina for more than (6) six months next preceding the commencement of this action.

No, you should file in Wake, and simply change the language to the example you made.
