First of all, thanks for this website and forum. Many of my questions have been answered here and you have made a task that once looked overwhelming, into something that the average Joe like me can do!
My stbe and I have agreed to everything and I have now finished the seperation agreement. Am I correct in understanding that all that needs to be done is each of us sign it and have it notorized? It does not need to taken to court or filed with the clerk?
Also, if that is the case, when I file the complaint, then serve her, if she does not answer the complaint and I get a court date, does she need to come to court, since she won’t contest anything?
