Refusing divorce

Dear anne15:

Greetings. No, she has no choice in whether or not he gets a divorce. As long as he is separated from her for 1 year and 1 day, he can get a divorce. Best of luck to your friends.

I have a friend who’s husband wants to leave her because he know longer loves her and feels that he is just there so she can have a free ride and take care of her children. They have been married for 3 years she hasn’t worked in the last 2.He says that he feels trapped and that he has no feelings for her anymore. They are always fighting and arguing.Anyway my question is this she says even if he leaves there is no way in H_ll she will give him a divorce. Can she do that? Can she refuse to give him a divorce and he have to stay married to her? Its like she is obessed and want let him go.I love them both and don’t want to take sides but he is afarid if he leaves she will stalk him and do no telling what.
